SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Women's Chorus (SDWC) will perform its spring concert "Still We Rise" this Saturday and Sunday, May 4-5 at University Christian Church in Hillcrest. Tickets are still available.

The Black Storytellers of San Diego will be SDWC's special guests at this concert event that will offer a glimpse at women’s legacy through story and song. The Black Storytellers of San Diego is a dynamic group of women who promote storytelling and oral tradition through education and entertainment.

SAN DIEGO -- The Black Storytellers of San Diego (BSSD) will be the special guests at the San Diego Women's Chorus's (SDWC) annual spring concert, taking place May 4-5.

Tickets are now available for the show, titled "Still We Rise."

The concert will offer a glimpse at women's legacy through story and song.

SDWC members say that their group is thrilled to be working again with BSSD, which is a dynamic group of women who promote storytelling and oral tradition through education and entertainment.

SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Women's Chorus (SDWC) annual winter show, "DIVAS," will place this weekend, Dec. 8-9.

DIVAS celebrates women artists who are powerful, confident, and known for challenging norms and taking risks. A showcase of divas from Broadway to disco to soul, this spectacular, crowd-pleasing concert has something for everyone.

Tickets purchased in advance are $15 for regular admission and $12 for children/youth (4-17), students, seniors (65+) and military.

Ticket prices increase to $20 and $15 at the door.

The concert features music from favorite divas from the last several decades, including Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan, Aretha Franklin, Adele, Dolly Parton, Lesley Gore, Cyndi Laper, Donna Summer -- and a few unlikely divas, as well.
