SAN DIEGO – Popular DJ Jason Drenik has two big gigs this weekend, spinning at two Shaun Flak events.

First up will be Mojo Madness on Friday night at 1202 nightclub in Hillcrest.

He will also helm the M.A.N. party on Saturday night at Bourbon Street in University Heights.

Drenik, 31, grew up in Brentwood in Northern California. And he is single, gentlemen!

Karma continues to smile on Hillcrest DJ John Joseph. His growing popularity has gotten some nice out-of-town gigs lately, including Angel Bonilla’s WTF Military Party up at the Shark Club in Orange County this Friday, and then later next month he’s off to Hula’s in Waikiki, Hawaii (nice!), to spin their big Spring Break Blackout Underwear Party.

SAN DIEGO -- The community is invited to gather today to remember the life of Ran O'Dell, a popular member of San Diego's LGBT community, during two events being held this afternoon and evening. O'Dell, 41, was found dead last week, according to friends, with the cause of death unknown at this time, pending a report from the Medical Examiner's Office.

Today's events will include a viewing at Goodbody Mortuary, followed by a gathering at Martini's Above Fourth, in which the restaurant's weekly "Musical Monday" event will be dedicated to O'Dell.
