SUNDAY: SDPIX to present SPLASH T-dance at The Range

SAN DIEGO -- With warmer weather approaching, it's time to bring the "sun" back into Sunday Funday, as SDPIX presents the new "SPLASH" T-Dance at The Range in Hillcrest.

The first event will be this Sunday, April 28 from 4-7 pm.

Guests are invited to hang out on the venue's spacious patio, enjoy cool drinks, music and hot people all afternoon. $4 drink specials will be available.

Those who are hungry can also enjoy bites from The Range's full menu.

The Range is located at 1220 University Ave. in Hillcrest.

Sunday fun-day just got a little funner!

Top of the Park is now having a weekly Sunday Tea Dance and BBQ with new expanded hours from 1 to 8 pm, all summer long until Labor Day.

Specials include $5 burgers and hot dogs with chips and $3 well drinks, plus high energy music by DJ Jay Brannon.

Perhaps best of all, there's no cover. What with the panoramic view of the city from up there, there's probably no nicer place to spend a sunny summer day with friends.

You know the old saying, "while the cat's away, the mice will play?" Well that's the theme at Gossip Grill this Saturday and Sunday, as nearly all of southern California's lesbian population departs for Palm Springs and the Dinah Shore weekend.

The gays will take over both the bar and patio, and change the menu to offer more manly-sounding meal options. Check out the schedule of events on the flyer to the left, which if you notice includes both a Boys Party from 7 pm to 1:30 am on Saturday, and a Boys Brunch with $9.50 bottom-less mimosas from 10 am to 2 pm on Sunday.
