Frank Ocean's album may currently be the most buzzed about disc in music, but Target isn't interested. Billboard reports the discount retail giant announced it will not sell Channel Orange, claiming the decision was a reaction to iTunes' one-week exclusive. Many are wondering, however, if the move was actually inspired by the fact that Ocean recently came out.

SAN DIEGO -- Freese Elementary Arts and Culture Magnet School in the Skyline neighborhood has been awarded a $100,000 grant by Target Corp., nominated by viewers of TV's "Ellen DeGeneres Show."

The grant will be used to support the school's Arts and Culture Magnet Program and purchase new books.

"I'm just so excited at what this will mean for our school," said Alma Hills, Freese principal. "Due to budget cuts, our Arts and Culture program, which provides every Freese student with rich experiences in music, dance, theatre and visual arts, has been in danger of being eliminated.

BREAKING NEWS: Target loses case trying to stop Canvass For A Cause from petitioning

SAN DIEGO – The giant Target Corp. has lost its effort to stop local grass-roots activist group Canvass For A Cause (CFAC) from talking to customers outside their stores in California.

Superior Court Judge Jeffrey B. Barton released his ruling this afternoon, denying Target’s motion for an injunction to stop CFAC from petitioning customers.

During the hearing on March 25, CFAC contended that its right to free speech was being challenged by the lawsuit, while Target claimed the grass-roots group’s tactics were harming its business.

BREAKING NEWS: Judge to rule in two weeks on Target suit vs. Canvass For A Cause

SAN DIEGO – Superior Court Judge Jeffrey B. Barton grilled attorneys for Target Corp. today regarding their lawsuit to stop local grass-roots activist group Canvass For A Cause (CFAC) from talking to customers outside their store.

Barton listened to arguments from both sides and said he would issue a ruling in two weeks. He did not specify a date.

CFAC contends that its right to free speech is being challenged by this lawsuit, while Target claims the grass-roots group’s tactics are harming its business.
